I used to regard Dr. Mercola as an anti-vaccine charlatan. But my views radically changed after I started researching modern medicine and learned that legal prescription drugs are the 3rd leading cause of death in this country after heart attacks and cancer. (Death by modern medicine is the REAL leading cause of death if you include medical errors and deaths from medical "treatments".) I certainly don't agree with everything Mercola says, including this book (esp. CH2*), but there's no doubt in my mind he has integrity and truly strives to "first do no harm" (a principle that modern medicine abandoned decades ago in the pursuit of profit). This book is essential reading if you want to know the underlying reality behind the mainstream propaganda. Unfortunately, those who need to read this book the most are the ones least likely to because they blindly believe the mainstream media (like I used to). * Read "Fear of the Invisible" (2008) for an alternative view on viruses.
