I had to write a review even though I did not purchase this product from Amazon. I actually purchased the Perfecter from their website after seeing the tv informercial. Ladies, learn to use this properly!!! Amazing results are seen once you learn the proper way to use it. I watched the infomercial and practiced after reading the manual. I have pretty fine, limp, color-treated shoulder length hair. I am able to straighten my hair, curl my hair or simply add body! My hair is super shiny after using the Perfecter. The only thing I can't do, is style my hair in 3 minutes like they advertise. I can do my entire head in about 10 minutes though. I have NEVER gotten my hair tangled. If you use it properly, you won't get your hair tangled! If you do get it tangled, how to untangle is clearly posted on the perfecter's website with visuals to help you untangle your hair---without cutting your hair out! Every time I use it, I learn a new trick to give myself a new look. This tool actually allows you to get a "salon look" without having to wash your hair every day. I would recommend this product. Practice makes perfect!
