I just received my bottle of Palo Santo this morning. I bought it purely on intuition because I'd never heard of it before. I was thrilled that it arrived before my morning meditation. I opened it, set an intent, and sprayed it around me. It has a very refreshing, woodsy scent that I found relaxing. I began meditating and as usual my cat began to meow. If I block him from the room he really raises a racket so I just endure him as best I can. I heard him walk up to my left hand which was the first place I sprayed the Palo Santo to test the scent. Then I thought he'd left and gone somewhere to sleep. My meditation was exceptional, not only because of the blessed silence, but I felt my level of relaxation was deeper. But when I opened my eyes I got such a shock. There was my cat in what I call prayer pose; laying down with head up, paws tucked neatly under him. His eyes were closed and he had an expression on his face of such happiness I sat there utterly transfixed for a good minute. I know this cat well and he was blissed out. Then after that I had a major breakthrough. Call it a placebo, I don't care. I'll take it! I intend to use this spray every day, as often as I want. I'm so glad I bought it.
