We have a GSD mix, and she sheds all year round, no matter how many times we brush her. She gets full tufts of fur that just come flying out of her, and we have tried all sorts of brushes and combs in the past to try and keep her shedding in check, but to no avail. When I saw ads for this product, I was skeptical. Really skeptical. I also worried that it might hurt our puppies, because it looked harsher than any of the other products that we have tried in the past. I WAS SO WRONG. Listen, whoever invented this thing, I just want you to know how much my husband and I love you. This thing is a GOD-SEND. The first time I ran this along our monster shedder, so much fur flew off of her, I was in shock. All of the fur that I couldn't seem to get out with the other brushes (but could SEE with my eyes) just came out in chunks. There was so much fur everywhere, I had full softball-sized bunches of fur all over the ground. I kept looking at my pup to see if she was in pain, and she just plopped down in front of me with her eyes closing slightly, like I was giving her a massage. I promptly threw away all the other brushes that we've wasted our money on in the past, because this thing is all we need. Buy this now. You won't regret it for a second.
