I've been dealing with long term nerve issues and the strongest pain has been in my calf (along the shin bone). Ice helps give me some of the only relief I experience. I have all sorts of ice packs, including other soft ones like this. This one, however, wraps almost entirely around my calf and holds the cold for a long time. My only problem is that I have a really hard time getting the elastic strap to work without the pack slipping down my leg. The strap is too long and the pack too heavy for me to wrap it only once around and it's not long enuf for me to wrap it twice around. Otherwise, it's the bomb!
