Mine, according to Champion tech support, "was shipped with a defective computer". I'm disappointed for sure, but going to give it another shot with a replacement generator of the same model. I'll update this review if the replacement is any better. Update: I received a replacement generator in two days. It started on the first pull, and has been running a small electrical load for several hours now to break it in. It seems to be running quite well, so I'm upping my review from 1 star, to 4, and will update this review again after our first camping trip. Update 2: After a week long camping trip using this generator to recharge our boat's trolling motor batteries, I have to say, I'm a fan. It's quiet, reliable, and weighs and costs less than most other generators in its' class. That said, I would, and likely will, recommend this product to family and friends, especially when I know customer support is up to par. Hope this helps you choose the right generator for you.
