Purchased this to replace a cheap metal bigbox splitter that broke and was leaking (the on/off lever popped off it). As a full-time RVer, I use this item pretty much daily so I can have my potaple water hooked up, as well as still use the spigot to wash my hands after maintenance chores, water my container garden, fill the dog's outside dish, and more. I really like the bright orange colour that is easy to find in the "bucket of parts" I keep for setup. It seems really heavy duty and weighs a good bit for its size, so I think it should hold up well for extended use. The levers to open and close each side are smooth and easy to operate, even with arthritis. Although not essential and only made of hard rubber, the bonus was that it has a small "eye" in the fork between the hook-ups. So you could actually put a small padlock on it and chain it to prevent theft while camping! So far, I'm very happy with this purchase! If it holds up well, I may actually buy another, as I like to keep a spare in case an item gets lost or does eventually break.
