It's hard to give something like this a 5 star review. Hopefully you'll read this and understand. It's not something that offers pain relief. . I have a compressed l4 vertebrae and I also am a flooring installer. (Not a good combo) and having some extra back support is probably a smart thing for me to do. The price on this was great and it was worth a shot to try it. What it does is sit in a slightly awkward position on your body and tugs on your shoulders helping you to keep a better posture. It isnt a dramatic effect tho. you can adjust it somewhat. In a sense when you're bending over its elastic aspects pull backwards on your shoulders so it offere a little more support for your lower back. For what it is it is as comfortable as you could hope it would be. It's a great product and if you're looking for something like this I definitely recommend it. But as is anything like this it's not going to be the most comfortable thing no matter what you do. It's not bad though and fits well. UPDATE: it works well for shoulder and upper back posture but I mistakenly thought it would help with lower back. The brace is smaller than it appears I thought the lower part was for your waist but it sits higher. This was my mistake in assuming it would help with lower back issues but it doesnt do anything for that.
