My husband has Alzheimer's disease and can't coordinate removing the cap and replacing it. These are great. He just picks up the tube and squeezes. Perfect. You might get a little build up at the tip if excess paste remains on the tip but you just swipe it away with your finger or give it a quick rinse under water. They don't fit over those really wide toothpaste openings that some brands have but fit easily over regular ones. See picture.
