If you pay it off every month, rock on!
I have had this card now for well over two years. Yes, the folks I talk to are in India. Yes, they have a bit of an accent but they are always polite, friendly and even though I've managed to be late with my payment in full multiple times, I am always credited for the late fee. Keep in mind I do pay the card IN FULL every month. It would be foolish to have a card like this that has a 26% interest rate and carry a balance. Be that as it may, the 5% is incredible. To date for this year alone I've earned $421. That pays for my Prime membership, Prime Music and leaves the rest to come directly off my purchases. I don't pay any fees, there is no annual fee on this card and since I pay the card off every month, I technically make money by shopping for things I need to get somewhere anyways. IF you have a lot of things you need for your business and if you do some grocery and other types of similar, necessary shopping AND you pay your card off every month, this card will save you 5% off consistently for those items. Now, if you can manage to be even more efficient and do 50% or more of your grocery shopping via Whole Foods or Prime Now and get your toiletries and other consumables, you will see measurable and consistent 5% returns AT A MINIMUM. I opt for the slow delivery option frequently and I get a $5 credit for Prime Now each time I do. If you do a dozen or so orders per month, that's $60 additionally above and beyond the 5%. I have stumbled on to these savings and am simply passing off what I've learned through accidentally discovering this. I am working on doing a majority of my shopping via Amazon for 75% for all consumables including grocery and that savings will become extreme. Now, this takes discipline. I only use my Amazon card for Amazon purchases. This way, I can use the card for things I need mostly and occasionally get things I want. I have a budget I stick too and keeping this in mind, I save significantly every month. I have no issue with the card and used in conjunction with what I've written you can really get quite a bit of savings that you otherwise would not be receiving. Yes, for some reason I know I've been late at least 6 times this year. Part of this is just being too busy and disorganized. So, I've made 6 calls to the Amazon card to get this credited. They have credited this every single time. I am sure if I had not paid off my balance every month, they would most definitely not do this. I cannot reiterate this enough. Pay off your balance EVERY month. Plan your spending. Spend your plan. If you follow these tips, you'll save enough to get things you want for literally free depending on how much you end up saving. Cheers,
