I got the bands used at a discount and they were in great shape. They were in the original packaging with only one of them having been opened. I've only used one other set of cheap (about $25 for a set of six tube bands) resistance bands before and the iron infidel bands are MUCH better in comparison. These bands are a closed circle as opposed to a length of tubing which allows for a wider variety of exercises. Another thing I like about the Iron Infidel bands is that, even though they smell like rubber, the smell doesn't stick to your hands every time you touch them. For me, this means I'll use them more since I'm not worried about having to wash my hands after every use. I'd highly recommend these for anyone who works out at home or looking for a versatile piece of equipment.
