Easy to assemble, but the frame is heavy
Assembling the tricycle was a lot easier than I expected it to be - my husband had it ridable inside an hour. The hardest part of assembling the tricycle was getting the brakes to work right. One of the brake cables came off after a couple of weeks because it was pulling too tight, and it took about three weeks of intermittant fiddling to fix them for good. The only other thing to note is that the solid frame of a tricycle makes it sturdy and able to support a large weight, but it is HEAVY. Peddling takes some effort, and riding it made my legs noticeably stronger quite quickly. If you live anywhere where there are hills, you don't want this tricycle unless you have super-strong legs - until I started riding the tricycle I never knew that our home street is 5 feet higher than the main road half a mile away (we live in Florida). It's not unmanageable, but it definitely cuts down on how far I can manage to ride.
