I recently ordered a keypad lock from Amazon. I installed the lock but it is improperly wired. When I command the instruction to "lock" (holding any random number) from the outside it unlocks the bolt. When I press my code and then enter the orangiot button, the device LOCKS the bolt. THIS ENTIRE THING SHOULD BE SWAPPED So anyone can unlock my door simply by holding a number. This is a serious defect. I have wasted both time and money regarding this issue. Very disappointed with this garbage product. ** EDIT ** 5 Feb 2021 Changed from 1 star to 4 After contacting the company they did everything in their power to help. Customer service was excellent. The fix for me was intentionally installing the lock with the bolt set to the lock position (fully extended). After leaving the bolt in this position and resetting the mechanism, the lock started to behave correctly. I hope this helps anyone that may run into a similar situation.
