This lamp really is " Elegant " ! It is by my recliner so I can read, and I can ! I worried about getting it assembled and put in a request to Amazon's Home Services, and also " Home Advisor "....the service offers I got from them wanted $80 and $90 to assemble the lamp, which cost less than that. So I decided to try it myself....now I am a 70 year old woman with an arthritic back and hands...and guess what... I DID IT ! MYSELF ! PERFECTLY ! So you can do it ! And then enjoy it's beauty, and the compliments you will get from visitors.
