This is a great portable AC which is unfortunately just a few design flaws away from perfection. Some things I wish I'd known (or at least paid more attention to): - I don't know why this surprised me, but yes, the unit is big and heavy. Go read the listing again: 12.6 x 12.6 x 36.8 inches and 85 pounds. I assure you it is every bit of that. You don't want to be carrying this thing up a flight of stairs. Fortunately, it is on wheels and pretty easy to move around once you get it unloaded. - Again, I don't know why this surprised me, but the listing says 550 sq. ft, and I would agree that is about the largest space for which you'd want to use this. I thought it would be oversized for my ~500 sq. ft 1 BR but I'm glad I didn't buy a smaller one. - The wifi features worked out of the box for me. None of the issues reported here. - The window kit is pretty nice and simple to install. Others have mentioned it, but if your windows are large like mine (>46 in), you'll need an extra extension which is only sold as part of a kit for an additional $168. That being said, I ordered the second window kit and it works great. - The window kit does have one unfortunate flaw, which is that while the window vent itself is thin (4"), the tube that connects to it is not and fans out to around a 7" diameter. The end result of this is that if your windows are recessed into the wall, you won't be able to place the vent against the wall because you can't connect the tube to it. This could have been easily corrected by making the "fan out" more gradual or flat on one side. An unfortunate oversight.
