I immediately went and investigated my jug. I bought my bottle around the beginning of March, received it really quickly, and immediately opened it for use. I was stressing out that it's use by date was June of this year, how was I going to get through this jug? Then I was gifted an actual bottle of starbuck's WCM sauce (probably the only good thing to come out of the COVID-19 outbreak) and ended up not using my Fontana sauce for almost an entire month. It just sat, on my counter, open. I ran out of the starbucks bottle about a week ago now and didn't even pay mind to the condition of the contents inside of the fontana bottle. I've been using about 4 pumps in my technically venti sized WCM everyday for this long. Did not even check for mold until reading a million comments about it. So, with a heavy heart, I have to say that I think ya'll have serious humidity issues in your kitchens or something because my bottle's totally fine. It's been sitting, open, pump unlocked, for over a month. Praise coffee jesus. I didn't know how to rate this on value for money though. I'm not sure that the cost per fl. ounce is all that reasonable. However, if you rate the value for money based on "would I rather have super sugary, watered down davincis 'sauce'?" "is it worth risking someone's life by potentially exposing them to a deadly virus, just so I can have starbucks?" OR "I can do this myself and make it exactly perfect from the safety of my home"...the value for money is pretty okay. Plus, I get (don't judge me) a venti WCM 5 shot like, everyday. Yes, I'm THAT crackhead. That's $8 a day...$16 if it was apocalyptic. ONE week and this sauce has paid for itself. And that's the tea.
