Like the other reviewers have said this is just the canvas, paint, and brushes. No frame. The colors are not true to the advertised picture for the most part. The tree leaves and where you see black in the painting are pretty much all that are the same color wise. This is my first time doing a paint by number and it has been a good experience. You do need to have a lot of patience as there are a ton of small areas to paint in various different colors (take a close look at the leaves). The numbers are clearly printed on the canvas and depending on what color you are using, they are usually covered up by the first coat of paint. Some lighter colors do require multiple coats before the numbers and lines are covered. The paint can get a bit tacky at times but like another reviewer said, just add a touch of water and you are good to go. The brushes that come with it will work to complete the painting but you are definitely better served by purchasing your own detail brushes. I will say that even though the colors are not true to the advertised photo, it is still a pretty and romantic painting. I've included pictures that show the project progression and what the finish product looks like before and after framing (purchased the frame recommended in the Q&A section). Note: I did change the colors used for the lovers in the photo. Originally the female clothing was mint green and black and the male clothing was mostly all black and between them an orange leaf?? (I couldn't tell you what that orange coloring was supposed to represent). Bottom line, I didn't like it so I changed it. You can see the color change when you compare the beginning photos to the finished product.
