This is a great imaginary story like all of Dr. Suess' books. Please don't ruin Dr. Suess for us too. I looked for the "racism" mentioned by other reviewers. The book talks about imaginary animals found in imaginary countries with the assistance of imaginary people. If the reader then determines the race of the imaginary person based off of a picture, I think that says a lot more about the reader and their beliefs than it does about the author and his beliefs. Although, if other people know where Zomba-ma-tant is, maybe they can point me in the direction of an elephant cat? My daughter really wants one!
