We Hiked "The Narrows" at Zion NP
We tried out some more expensive poles for a different hike and loved the advantage but couldn't justify the cost. Then we planned a trip to Zion National Park, and we were told that poles were a must for Zion- especially the Narrows. So I found these on here and decided that for $20 per pair, they were worth a shot and purchased two pairs. Long story short- these saved our butts! Our trip included a few more difficult trails, including "The Narrows" and also a few trails on rocky and/or hilly terrain. Several times we found ourselves relying on these heavily in order to stabilize ourselves. Not once did they even hint at bending. And the cork handles were perfect for maintaining our grip in the hot (>100°F) weather, I mean, we had some sweaty hands!!
