My New Favorite Addition to Tea
My husband loves sugar, in fact I joke that he likes coffee and tea with sugar, instead of the other way around. I was looking for monk fruit sweetener as I had heard that it was a good substitute as a sweetener, and didn’t have any nasty chemicals. I liked the fact that it was all natural, but I was unaware how much we would love it. I tried it at first in tea, reading that there were 300+ servings of it in the bag, I was skeptical. I am so utterly impressed! The packaging was clean and sealed nicely. It came with a small scoop spoon that I took out and washed off for better storing, and a lot of the times I barely use a whole scoop it is really a strong product! I am so glad I will have this around for a while. It is definitely worth the price. It sort of tastes like dried mangos to me, but sweeter and works in drinks well. Definitely taste the beverage before adding to know how much, and remember that a little goes a long way. Even my husband uses one scoop compared to his previous 4 tablespoons of sugar! I would not recommend for substituting in baking, but I am curious if I could use it for vegan meringues as an additional flavor.
