Either you love and appreciate true percale, or you don't. Percale sleeps cool. Percale makes noise. Percale is noisey, in that it crinkles, like true percale does. Percale is never wrinkle free. And sateen? Staaaahp! Its cotton-not polyester microfiber or bamboo or wth ever they make sheets out of these days that end up in the bin or used as paint tarps. If you want wrinkle free, hot, slick, heavy, pilling sheets, go with microfiber or poly-blends because these are your grandmas sheets. And when I say Grandma, shes 80+, not 40. I have a closet full of sheets that professed to be true percale. They're all being donated. These are the noisey, crinkly, cool to the touch, love to run your feet over over them, smooth, soft cotton clothes line sheets you have been looking for.
