Ok I know, I know it's just a trash can. But there are not a lot of larger dual trash/recycling bins out there and I propbably spent much longer than I needed to on research. My previous bin was a single simplehuman trash bin (which I liked), but the bag on the side that I was using for recycling was just messy. I bought this dual recycler one because it was the largest non-industrial side by side. It also does not need special bags, regular 10 gallon kitchen bags do the trick. Lastly it is also about $100 cheaper than the competition (simple human), which is also smaller. Previous reviews have indicated that the bags are hard to remove. I don't find this to be the case and wonder if they did not remove the shipping/packaging materials from under the bins before use. Also for reference, we are 3 adults and a baby and I find that it's just right for our trash-voloume. In summary, it's simple, it works it's made my kitchen neater and I don't think about it anymore!
