For those that are concerned about strategy and whether or not adults would like it, there's a simple rule tweak that adds a bit of depth to the game: instead of drawing a tile and playing, keep a "hand" of 3 tiles (that only you can see) and on your turn you play one and draw one. This allows more strategy and is less reliant on luck and those I've taught how to play this way love it.
