I love it, I bought 2 Skeeter Beeter pros & 1 regular Skeeter Beeter.
I bought my first one over 2 years ago and let my tentless friend borrow it, he is a farm boy and at least 6'4" and 180lbs. He loved it, said he was going to get one soon after.I can share it with my husband, our combined weight only being 260 and still be comfortable- the hammock is double wide! Since then I bought one for my husband and another just as a spare.
The difference between the models is the quality of the fabric, the pros are silky and the regular is not silky. Why does this matter? When you are sleeping in this huge hammock and you want to pull yourself up higher on the hammock to get your feet to touch the ground first (instead of your butt), the silky fabric makes this move easy, nothing catches. The silky fabric also does not collect lint or pet hair- just based on the texture. The netting is no-seeum mesh and allows for great views. To use it without, don't attach the elastic cord and just zip it all the way shut, flip you hammock over to its upside down position and sit. This tensions the netting tight against the silky nylon part of the hammock.
It's easy to set up and take down. You just keep it in its sack that is sewn onto it, hang one of the hooks on your rope, then unroll out the rest of the hammock. It never needs to touch the ground. The whole thing packs to the size of a bicycle helmet, weighs about 2lbs. Great for bicycle or kayak camping. I recommend getting the Hammock Camping book by Ed Speer- it's just a really great, informative read on the Leave No Trace aspect of hammock camping. You won't be disappointed.
