This is a very lightweight tripod. I have a Canon T31 DSLR and with the 55 - 250 zoom lens the camera tends to pull slightly forward on the tripod. Nonetheless, for the money and for occasional use in situations requiring a tripod, this is not a bad deal. I would not take it out into the wilds and expect it to hold up for long. It is easy to set up and re-fold and most importantly, it is very portable. When in its supplied bag, it easily attaches to the bottom of my camera bag with straps and is always available. If you are looking for an easily carried tripod for only occasional use, this might be useful for you as it is for me. If you are looking for something that will hold the camera, a big lens and a dedicated flash, this is probably too light.
