At 36, with still quite oily skin, I've used a metric ton of powders out there. Drugstore, department and boutique brands. $5-who knows how stupidly overpriced. I just got this and it blows everything else I've used out of the water!! My skin is very pale, so many companies don't make product that is light enough. Or if it's light enough it's too yellow or pink. I think my closest match has been from True Match W1 Porcelain. But it is a bit chalky and deadening to the skin tone. Clear Skin #1, however, is fantastic! It looked a bit too bright in the pact - maybe a bit peachy? - but when I patted it on my nose it blended in seamlessly. Moreover it made my skin tone appear pretty and lively WHILE covering the ruddiness I get around my nose and chin. I've never had a powder do that. And all without shimmer. :-) My skin is also very oily, especially in the T-zone. So even though this pact is marketed for teen skin... it's perfect for me! It looks and feels soft and realistically matte. With the rest of my regimen, this also helps my pores be less noticeable. And moreover, this powder keeps the soft look for hours! I've never had a powder last so long. Ever. Even "long last" formulas, that would instead look like spackle, cake, seep into lines/pores and slide away before this powder stops being pretty. Also, sometimes (not often anymore, but sometimes!) my skin gets angry and I get a hormone pimple on my chin :-( I have one right now, sadly. This product has really decent but subtle coverage (read: unless you are super crusty, this shouldn't look cakey or settle into crags and such) for a powder and hasn't made my current (cursed!) red pimple any angrier. Now that I am older my skin can go sensitive sometimes, which makes it more annoying when I DO get the occasional breakout, but this product hasn't caused any irritation. Instead it has helped my skin look beautiful and the mean little pimple to fade a bit into the background. This powder looks and feels amazing, has an adorable pact and keeps the oiliest of skins looking soft and "normal". I will definitely buy again. No doubt! My one wish? That Tonymoly make a pact with the stripes and paws ON THE PACT instead of just the wrapping. It's cute either way, but those paws are adorable! Maybe they could even make a refillable pact with the stripes and paws? Maybe in wood or metal? Swooooooon!! As it stands this is my favorite powder of the century! + a prior decade... eesh, time flies! Hope you can solve your pale/oily skin woes with this powder, too. Or it could make a lovely gift for any oily-skinned friend, or teen you know. Note: I added some pics of the pact in packaging, without, open and then with the product exposed. It *is* a photo and that, plus your computer will affect how you see the color, but it gives you an idea of what you would get if your order #1. Clear Beige. Hope this helps!
