I have sept in a hammock before but it was one of those yarn/netting hammocks. Those are very comfortable but these hammocks are AMAZING! I love this hammock. Very easy to set up and everything is included. The included ropes are pre-tied so set up is literally a breeze. It took me under 2 minutes to set it up the very first time and a leisurely pace. I am 230 lbs and this fits me no problem with extra room to cocoon myself. I do want to mention the included nautical ropes have absolutely no stretch even when my wife climbed in. I would not normally consider sleeping with two people in a hammock, I do not even like to sleep being touched on my king sized bed, but i could not believe how comfortable I was when both my wife and I were in the hammock together. I could have easily took a nap or possibly slept over night. Even though this is a larger hammock, it packs up nicely into its connected stuff bag. The hanging ropes fit in there too and everything together is only 1.7 lbs. If you wanted to make this even lighter you could replace the steel carabiners with an aluminum carabiner or just not use one at all. 1.7 lbs is just fine with me though. I will be using this quite often as soon as the 3 feet of snow melt we just got hit with. I may be looking for some walls inside to hang this, it's seriously that comfortable.
