I bought this for my elderly cat on the advice of his vet. (My cat has always had nasal congestion issues since he joined the family at 1 year of age. But he is now 15 and every winter his congestion gets really bad and thick where he is wheezing and gets bloody noses.) So, off to figure out how to humidify a cat sized area for him. I bought this small humidifier and a small baby’s beach tent that I can zip closed. Total success but what I didn’t realize was how much he loves it. I don’t even have to zip the tent completely closed now, he happily goes in several times a day and just sits there with his face pointed at the mist and then lays down and naps for up to an hour or so. His sneezing continues but he is much less congested so it is now productive sneezing and no wheezing. And, his fur is now super soft. I don’t leave it on when he vacates the tent and I clean it and his blanket regularly (he sneezes a lot) but I am amazed how much he loves this little humidifier. It is relatively quiet, more like a hum of white noise and super easy to use, clean and refill. Definitely a five star purchase for Mikey the cat and our family!
