We bought these to do the ceiling in our daughter's room as part of our day sky/night sky theme and after reading the reviews on here, I was not a bit prepared for what we saw when we were finished... OMG laying on the floor in her room was like laying in a field on a starry night! These glow very brightly and the abundance of tiny stars compared to the few large stars makes it feel realistic. My daughter is thrilled with her room and has actually stopped using a night light since we put them up. A few notes on the other reviews that I read prior to purchase - 1 - Yes, there are a lot of small stars... I personally felt that it made it more realistic (the smallest stars were about the size a pea and accounted for 25% of the stars - the next size up were about dime size and accounted for another 25-40% in my opinion). 2 - There is more than enough putty to hang the stars - I had over a third of it left and hung all of the stars - a little dot will go a long way 3 - As someone else mentioned - be careful opening or you will have little stars everywhere :-) 4 - It took 2 of us about 30 - 45 minutes to hang all of them (including 3 constellations) so plan your time accordingly
