I've been using these on rocks and painted my entire guitar case! Really, for the rocks, the tip is small enough to get really nice small detail. I used the medium point for the guitar case. I found that while it is very tempting to press down while working to get more paint, it is a big mistake. Sometimes they pool and you can ruin your project. Always, remove the pen to blotter paper to press down. Then you can also re-dip your pen in the pool to use up the paint. Very nice product. I'm very happy with the results.
