This box is nice compact size and the high sides kept litter from being slung out. However, the side seam is not liquid-tight. The high wall with a curve at the top does keep the urine from spraying out, but as it runs down the sides, it then goes outside the box and onto the floor. The side seam has the top portion to the outside of the box instead of to the inside. If the lip were designed so the top portion would channel drainage back into the box that would have been desirable for our household's needs. Next I'll try silicone caulk to seal the two parts together.
