This kit turned a princess slumber party of 7 year- olds into a slumber party of 7 year-old aspiring amateur geology enthusiasts... or future geologist groupies. They especially loved the shark teeth and arrowheads. I've never seen kids drop watching The Little Mermaid and yapping about princesses faster to identify rocks. They played with it for 2 hours straight and only stopped because I made them go to sleep. This is a great kit and kids just love it. Give them a little water and a tiny paint brush and they will "polish" the gems for longer than you would think possible. Perfect for keeping your kid quiet to catch up on quality sitting time.
