Ok, stay with me on this: I ordered some Peet's coffee kups and they were defective. I wrote to tell the company that they were exploding and after much back-and-forth, including photos, they essentially said, "well, yeah, that's tough...have a nice day!" Just ugly and snide customer service. They lost my business and treated me with disdain.. So...for my wife's birthday I buy her a new bike and order this cool gold Thousand Premium helmet. The helmet arrived: wrong size. Bummer! I let them know of the error and they immediately went into action. They emailed right away and overnighted me a new helmet of the right size, and they were generous with a price break, and even included a hand-written note with the new helmet, apologizing for the error, and included a cool little brass bike bell out as a way of further apologizing. Now THAT'S good and sincere and wise customer service. I didn't expect it, and it didn't cost them much, but they'll make a lot more money from me and my friends, and maybe you too. Plus, the product is top notch. A company to reward, respect and patronize.
