Second time buying five years later, still great product
First, it is important to READ THE DIRECTIONS and PRACTICE putting your teeth on before you fill them with putty. Practice putting the cap on in one steady motion to achieve the right angle the first time with no wiggling. I also dried my caps after practicing to ensure the putty would stick.
I love this product- I bought this second pair of fangs for my incisors because I already have an older pair for my canines. The only thing I deviated on with the instructions was that I put 5 drops of liquid instead of 4 (as recommended by a very old video on YouTube). This gave me quite a bit of putty, and like the instructions said I used ALL of it. While you should try to put it mainly on the sides, it will naturally fill the cavity because there is so much putty. This is fine. This will cause extra putty leakage out of the sides and back (this is what helps your tooth stay in place, see pictures) but it should dry clear. You can also trim off excess with nail clippers, but be careful not to compromise the mold.
Finally, I let them sit for the 18+ minutes after I got both of them in. They will harden and it can be scary to try to take off - it was for me the first time. Just follow the directions and push straight forward with your bottom teeth until you hear a click (it should be quite loud). They should then pop right off.
Also, if you don't get your angle right the first time and you need to redo the entire process, the package comes with 6 capsules. You use one capsule per tooth, so I have four extra at the moment.
