Space food
So these are not soft or chewy. They are hard and kinda like eating a soda cap minus the fiz. It should also be noted that at least with the vanilla ones they have a high dairy content so if you are lactose intolerant you may not want to be taking these with you into the field. These particular ones leave a milky after taste in your mouth.
