I’m about to paint a large accent wall gold to go with my newly Weatherwood Reclamation reactive-stained maple cabinets, Aspect peel/stick metal tile backsplash, champagne brass hardware, stainless farmhouse sink, and mirror-scattered white quartz countertop, all purchased from Amazon (except for the cabinets and countertop). As I recapped in the video, I thought of the three gold colors (Champagne, Soft Gold, Gold Mine) in terms of Christmas ornaments: Champagne - very old ornament, gold has rubbed off to a silvery color. Soft Gold - newer ornament, but still old, antique gold. Gold Mine - new gold, what you’d expect if you’d melted down a gold bar. I’ll be ordering Champagne as it was most neutral and blended both stainless steel, various shades of brass, mirror, and driftwood grey. Contrary to the video, the 2oz trial size pots are around $7.00 vs $10.00! Hope this helps you finalize your fearless decision for a gold accent wall. We’ll post a pic of the results when done.
