Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

There are plenty of reviews on the paid version of the game so I won't get into too much detail here. What I can say is I highly enjoyed this game. I unlocked this right away even though it was a bit pricier than I would have liked. I try to get games when they are on sale at least 40% off, or less than 3 dollars. Even so, the storyline really drew me in. I like this twist on Snow White even though I wish it wasn't so depressing... lol. I finished the main game in a little over three hours and the bonus game in a little under one. So it is around a 3-5 hour game in my opinion, could take a little shorter or longer depending on how long you personally take. I did skip a few puzzles so that probably cut back some of my time. I play these games mostly for the storyline and visuals and less for the puzzles. The artwork was really beautiful, each location and character was drawn in brilliant detail (or computer animated I should say, hehe). The cut scenes though left much to be desired. The way they moved and talked was just sub par. Voice acting was fine too, not academy award winning or anything but decent. What upset me the most was the ending, it was way too abrupt and left many questions. I wish there were more answers although I suspect there is a sequel that will do that. Still, I would expect a little more bang for my buck. I am glad that the storyline stayed captivating though. Sometimes you play a free version of a game, unlock it, and find that it doesn't live up to the first part. This game only got better as it went on. There were a few corny parts but overall not bad. The free part isn't very long though, probably because the game itself isn't too long. You do get to go to four different areas in the main game, two in the bonus. I wish there was a little more characterization overall but... that aside, the story was interesting. So, give the free trial a chance and see what you think. I personally enjoyed it but there could be improvements. I play a lot of these types of games so I am a bit harsher when it comes to everything. You may like it more or less depending on how many of these type of games you play. I love anything fairytale related though so those type of games will always be rated a bit higher. :)
