this ramp is prefect for our 80# golden retriever with a sore leg. trying to minimize the jumps down from my SUV; the ramp is easy, light and extends plenty enough for the rear or side of my vehicle. I read a review that felt the grit surface was dangerous for dog's paws, so I got a roll of kitchen-cabinet non-skid liner, some spray adhesive, and put down a layer on both sections. works perfectly
