I researched for countless hours for a bluetooth receiver to use in my 2005 BMW 3 series. Some wouldn't automatically turn on when the ignition turned on (requiring a manual click of the power button every single time you entered the car) and others would lag for 3+ minutes. This FireFly is absolutely wonderful! It automatically connects right away as I enter the car and requires no manual power switch. This was KEY for me, because I would hate to manually turn this thing on every singe time I entered my car. The sound quality on this little thing is VERY GOOD for a bluetooth receiver. There aren't any noticeable harsh noises or feedback, just clear sounding music. I have tried many other bluetooth receivers and they either sounded tinny or weak, not the FireFly. I wouldn't say that it's as good as a traditional AUX cable, but it's pretty darn close. I tested it back and forth with the same songs between an AUX cable and the FireFly, and I would conclude that it's 1 step under an AUX cable in sound quality, where as other bluetooth receivers would be 3 or 4 steps down from an AUX cable. I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of quality for ease of use and no cable. I installed it in my glove box and I've had no connection issues at all. The connection is always FAST and ready to go, which makes it absolutely perfect. There are some drawbacks that I noticed. You can't answer calls with it and the included USB car charger wasn't working properly in ONE of my cars, but nevertheless, everything else is perfect. I sifted through hundreds of these bluetooth receivers and I'm glad I chose the FireFly. Highly recommended!!!
