I did some research before buying and was in disbelief when I found out Peloton bikes are over $2k dollars. It gets better than that too. To use their app, you must pay $20 a month to use any of the features on it. Talk about a ridiculous gimmick! No wonder the commercials show people in expensive condos with floor to ceiling windows! So on to a more common sense approach, I picked this one based on experienced reviews and the flash sale price of $212. Folks this is the same type of bike, sans the tablet and expensive app you DON'T NEED. So to emulate the same experience, use your smart TV, open YouTube and use any number of bike riding exercise videos. I also use internet radio for music from my AV receiver. It makes a 25 mile workout a breeze. With the all the basic readings you get from electronic panel, you are good to go. Other notes, putting the bike together was easy as other reviews mentioned. Quality is very basic, bike is solid. The sticker with logo was peeling off but glue fixed that real quick. That's my only knock so far. On durability I've only owned it for a week so time will tell. I do have a hundred miles on it at this point though with no issues.
