Thinner than expected. The purring is very loud - loud enough that my kittens FREAKED when they heard it the first time. Now they treat it as an enemy or prey by biting and swatting at it instead of kneading and cuddling with it. I wanted to use this as a substitute for wool sucking on the carpet but I guess it'll be just another toy for the cats. UPDATE: a week later and now the cats treat it as their bae, even fighting over it (see vid). Their saliva gets it really gross (see pic), however, but a quick handwash in the sink with soap takes care of that (after first removing the purring mechanism of course)
