Warranty information in this review. Excellent for making bread. Updated!
There are some excellent reviews here, so I will try to avoid repeating their information. One reviewer was kind enough to list the real dimensions so I knew it would fit under our cabinets. I almost passed on buying it due to the dimensions Amazon had listed it for (over 18 inches), so I am very grateful to that reviewer. This fits under 17-inch cabinets with ease. The color is true to what is pictured. We bought the red and it is pretty. It appears to be well made, and is very easy to use. It is not loud. I was surprised by that. The suction cups really hold this thing down, no chance of it walking off, hehe.
My husband made a double batch of homemade pretzels with it on the first night, and the next day a huge batch of olive bread (it made two large loaves). The Litchi Stand Mixer handled it all with ease. There was no heat coming from it (unlike other brands). My husband was happy to have the work of making homemade breads cut down so dramatically. He even let the pretzel dough rise in the mixer bowl because the bowl is large enough for that. With the olive bread, we had to let it rise in a larger metal bowl, because it needed the room. My husband is a trained chef and said this is an excellent stand mixer thus far.
Now for the 2-year "hassle free" warranty:
I wrote to the company via Amazon after registering our mixer on their website and not receiving confirmation or any information regarding the warranty. They wrote back the same day letting me know they were having some issues with their website but that I indeed had the two-year warranty in effect. The next day they sent the warranty information via email: Two year limited warranty from the date of purchase for Litchi Stand Mixer main body and PCB. The accessories are covered for 90-days with a limited warranty. We have to pay for shipping it to them and for their return shipping. So that is not as "hassle free" as I was hoping for. Also, they will either repair or replace at their discretion. Know that if this needs repair, it will cost some "dough" in shipping charges there and back, and it has to include shipping confirmation. Darn. I would sleep better knowing they truly stand by their mixer.
I chose this mixer for my husband because the Kitchenaid mixer is way overpriced, only has a 1-year warranty, and seems to have known issues with breaking down. With the Litchi Stand Mixer I like that the transparent splatter guard cover is attached to the stand mixer and not the bowl, so one can easily raise it and the attachment at once, when the guard hole is not preferable for adding ingredients. How cool is that? You don't have to take the lid/guard off of the bowl when adding ingredients. There is another model out there for the same price that looks almost exactly like this one, minus the silver trim and the mixing bowl handle. So this one beats that one just because it has that added handle on the bowl, a must have in my opinion.
I researched for days trying to find the right mixer for my husband. I knew that since he was going to mostly make breads, it needed to have a powerful motor, but not too powerful (anything higher than 650 watts seems to overheat easily). I don't think I ever did as much reading and researching as I did for this mixer. The only question is how long will it last? This is a company we've never heard of before. I am impressed by their quick response to my email and that they answered my questions. If it breaks down in the next two years, I wish they would truly make it "hassle free" and pay for the shipping. That is my only complaint. A mixer should last for two years at least, if not longer. If it is made well, a company should stand by it 100%. Just saying.

My husband has been making at least two loaves of bread weekly since we bought this and it has been superb thus far. He also started making oatmeal cookies with it. He loves this mixer and loves to show it off to guests.

One year later and this mixer is still going strong! Easy to clean. My husband still loves it!
