It works great, inflates as advertised, and is very comfortable. Don't believe the bad reviews about how it won't inflate. The only instructions that were included in the packaging were just the basics on which way to turn the valve to open/close. Because of this, like others, I was initially confused about the self inflating feature, and thought perhaps it was defective. I looked online though, and quickly found the following video from the manufacturer with tips on how to inflate it for the first time: https://youtu.be/XSOyUcbqVh0 Basically, you open the valve and let it sit for 5-20 minutes, then close the valve and roll it in each direction really tight until you force air into the chambers. Then you open the valve back up, let it sit again to slowly fill, close it again, and repeat until you've gotten it to fully inflate for the first time. This opens everything up and allows the chambers to reform their memory to the inflated state. After you've done this, it will self inflate quickly for future uses.
