I bought 2 oil misters around the same time--the Misto and the FineLife Ideal. Both misters spray oil, but not as well as the aerosol can versions. However, the aerosol can products leave a sticky coating in pans. Between Misto and Ideal, Ideal was far better in several respects. Building pressure in the container was easier and the spray was much more evenly distributed (see photo). My only suggestion is to make sure the sprayer part is well seated on the bottle and tightened securely in order to build sufficient pressure.
