Backstory: Due to rare health complications I am required, by law, to be on birth control in order to continue getting my life-saving specialty medication as my specialty medication causes birth defects. Birth control tricks your body into thinking it’s pregnant, and as a result, I’ve got a protruding, rounded-belly. Gasp. Review: Media likes to showcase girls with 0% body fat and I’d say that’s a very dumb standard for the average woman to follow. Every woman is different and your body has its own story to tell. Your body type is YOUR body type, don’t let the media make you feel ashamed for not being a size 0. It is an unrealistic standard-no offense to any naturally thin ladies out there, everyone has a different metabolism/different story. But that doesn’t mean you can’t find clothing that flatters your unique shape! I for one hate clothes that stick to my skin! I like loose fitting clothes such as this shirt cause it’s easier to walk/run around, bend over, and reach up high. I don’t like “baggy clothing” that doesn’t flatter my shape at all. The shirt is good quality, I don’t have to worry about exposing some skin, and it’s tight and loose where it needs to be and gives me a nice, modest, feminine appearance. I got the color in Heather-gray as I do not like bright-colored clothing due to my introverted personality. The fabric is lightweight, stretchy, and comfy. I wouldn’t buy lighter colors as I can see there might be the problem of it being see-thru but one could fix that by wearing an under-shirt. After seeing how this one fits on me I will definitely be buying a couple more to complete my wardrobe for 2020.
