Amazing fishing kayak!
First of all, know exactly what you are buying. You are buying a FISHING KAYAK, not a touring kayak. I use this as a single person kayak, though it can be used as a tandem. The kayak is heavy, almost 70 lbs, and it's wide. If you're under 5'9" you are going to have a hard time using the single side carrying handle since the yak is so wide. Standing up, sitting down and casting are surprisingly easy, though being only 5'5" I have a low center of gravity so it may be easier for me than most. The features are great. I replaced the seat back with a higher end touring seat and would recommend you do the same if you will be using the yak for more than 2 hours. The yak came with 2 paddles, 2 seat backs and 5 scupper plugs even though there are only 2 scupper holes. The built in tie down points, waterproof rear entry point and fold down paddle clips are invaluable! There is even a molded hole in the rear of the frame for a future motor mount which I plan on using. For the $500 I paid, shipped, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect fishing kayak.
