The lock in my apartment kitchen door is a bit flimsy. I felt I could open it with just a kick or maybe several. Although I live in a relatively safe neighborhood, well you'll never know. Better safe than sorry. I have searched for the best lock that won't get my landlord ballistic when he sees it. I feel I did a good job installing it without the use of a power drill, so I was only able to use the short screws and not the 3" ones. Here are the pics I took.
