Update- This time around it shut down my adrenals and landed me in the ER. No one tells you that When you supplement with this that can sometimes happen. It happened to me. I ended up hypertensive with rapid pulse on a beta blocker.. Within the span of two weeks I was in and out of the ER several times with unstable blood pressures my body struggled to work right again because my adrenal were shut down and not working right. So be aware this can happen, it is effective so five stars for that but it can be dangerous. So...I'm hypothyroid. Autoimmune. I was having trouble with stress and just feeling lots of anxiety. I made the mistake of taking adaptogens to lower cortisol. What I didn't realize back then was that I was in adrenal exhaustion phase I. I made myself worse by taking the adaptogens. By the time I got off my body was stuck in fight or flight all day long. I rarely had any breaks. My heart was pounding in my chest, I was having palpitations, I have sweating profusely during the day and at night while I slept. My body literally could not get any rest. I was headed for real trouble. Having taken ACE before I ordered this since my old brand was no longer available. It did the trick. It took two days but the symptoms subsided and I had to take more than three a day more like 6 but it worked. Now my heart rate is stable, there is no more sweating and I am not in fight or flight any longer. It saved my life.
