because we know they both sleep through everything! I've been trying to upgrade the level of comfort in my room to make it a little bit more relaxing at the end of the day. This was a really great purchase. I have a ten inch memory foam mattress and you would think that would be enough. It isn't UNCOMFORTABLE, but it isn't soft either and I found myself tossing and turning at night and just not wanting to relax in my bed, which is sad.. it's a bed, you're suppose to relax in it. This topper added a nice layer or squishiness. It's not so soft and plush that you sink in it and are being swallowed alive, but more like a nice little hug. It fit my full size bed really well and I haven't had issues with it popping out of the corners and trying to come off the bed. Props for it being washable! I'm particular about my bedding and love that this can be washed.
