Unlike most reviewers I bought this for my sliding glass doors. Most people place something like a block of wood in the track, but the door can still be pulled off at an angle- as it can be if you use this product flat in the track. It is very effective at keeping your door in place when you found the right angle. Too small of an angle and the door can still be moved, too great an angle and the piece will slide. Make sure that the square foot is against the sliding door and the small round part in the track. See photos of our two doors.
